Really cool hearing from Jack. I believe the shut out game vs Leafs is on YouTube. Ask him about his wearing a Fibrosport mask. Why did he have that strange paint scheme in Edmonton? What sold him on Fibro?
Thx for the reply. I looked for that 3/10/68 game and can’t find it. May have been pulled. It was awhile ago when I viewed it. It was a CBS broadcast in color. I distinctly recall having a conversation with a fellow goalie enthusiasts about that game because if Jack. I was born and live in Buffalo, NY-USA and came across that game because of a Dave Dryden discussion we were having. Dave was a big part of Sabre goalie history here. After watching that game I started to research Jack’s hockey history. I collect goalie masks and noticed he had a small variety of masks. He wore a unique mask with the WHA Phoenix team along with his Fibrosport. Always was curious who made it. Would love to hear Jack tell his mask history! I’m sure it would fill a whole time slot! Again thx for replying. Lee Mark

I’m going to look for that game. That would be awesome. Thanks for letting me know and I will also ask him about the mask.
